Principal engineer will discuss rail transit today

Taka Kimura, the principal structural engineer at the firm of Parsons Brinkerhoff, contractor for the Honolulu High Capacity Transit Corridor Project, will discuss the project at 5:45 p.m. today at Tenney Theatre at the Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew.

The meeting will be moderated by the Rev. Timothy W. Sexton, provost of the Cathedral Church.

Kimura will speak and answer questions on plans for the proposed rail transit system on O'ahu. The event is free, and the public is invited to attend and join the dialogue on rail transit.

The Cathedral Church of Saint Andrew will continue its speaker series with Cliff Slater of Stop Rail Now at 5:45 p.m. Oct. 22.
