Weather: Passing showers likely today

A front near Kaua'i will weaken and move slowly westward away from the Islands today, the National Weather Service said.
Showers will occur across much of the state again today, with locally heavy rainfall possible mainly over Kaua'i and O'ahu, forecasters said.
Expect the trade winds to slowly return starting on Wednesday, with a more typical trade wind weather pattern reestablished across the entire island chain by Friday.
