Bernard Carvalho Jr. will be sworn in as mayor of Kaua'i and Shaylene Iseri-Carvalho as the county's prosecuting attorney Monday in a 1 p.m. public ceremony at the Kaua'i War Memorial Convention Hall.

Kaua'i Chief Circuit Judge Randal Valenciano will preside over the ceremony.

Prior to the inauguration, the County Council will hold its first meeting at the convention hall, beginning at noon.
