The B-52s — remember “Rock Lobster”? — will play the Hilton Waikoloa Village on the Big Island on New Year’s Eve. The show begins at 10:30 p.m.

Inazuman and more Japanese TV superheroes Inazuman, Sanagiman, Kikaida and Hakaida will appear from 2 to 3:30 p.m. Nov. 23 at Shirokiya, Ala Moana Center, in celebration of the Nov. 21 release of the Inazuman DVD box set.
Inazuman succeeded the popular Kikaida in the mid-1970s; Ban Daisuke, who portrayed the lead character in both series, will also sign autographs at the event.
