NFL: Texans QB Matt Schaub out with knee injury
Associated Press
MINNEAPOLIS — Houston Texans quarterback Matt Schaub injured his left knee today and was replaced by backup Sage Rosenfels in the second half against Minnesota.
Schaub went 11-of-16 for 139 yards, one interception and one lost fumble in the first half. He was seen limping briefly in the first half after taking a hit from Jared Allen. The Texans said Schaub's return was questionable.
Houston trailed 21-7 at halftime, but Rosenfels drove the Texans 72 yards for a touchdown in 10 plays to cut the Vikings' lead to seven.
Schaub helped Houston win three straight games after an 0-4 start. In his previous four starts before Sunday, he threw for nine touchdowns with only two interceptions.
