University of Hawai'i senior Xyra Suyetsugu shot a 1-over-par 73 today for a one-shot victory over Kristina Merkle in the Jennie K. Wilson Invitational at Mid-Pacific Country Club.

Suyetsugu finished at 1-under 215. Merkle, a Moanalua junior who was the tournament's two-time defending champion, shot a 75 today.

Kalani senior Nicole Sakamoto was third after a 73—220. Anna Jang, a Punahou junior shot 77 for a 222.
