MILWAUKEE — The St. Louis Cardinals have seen just about enough of Milwaukee Brewers slugger Ryan Braun over the past two days.

Catcher Yadier Molina and manager Tony La Russa managed to see a few innings less of him than everyone else last night.

Braun hit two home runs for the second game in a row, and Molina and La Russa were ejected for arguing balls and strikes shortly after the second of Braun's two blasts in the Milwaukee Brewers' 8-3 victory.

For Braun, it was another sign that he's beginning to regain the form that made him NL Rookie of the Year last season.

"I feel the game slow down a bit," Braun said. "I feel like I see pitches longer — and bigger."

Braun followed up Sunday's two-homer performance by hitting two solo shots off starter Adam Wainwright (3-2).

With one out in the fifth, Braun clobbered a 2-1 pitch from Wainwright into the Brewers' bullpen in left field. After Prince Fielder struck out, Corey Hart came to the plate and took a borderline pitch low and outside for a ball.

Molina complained about the call and was ejected by home plate umpire Paul Schrieber as La Russa was walking out of the dugout. Molina protested his ejection by taking off his gear and leaving it in a pile at Schrieber's feet. La Russa continued to argue and eventually was thrown out himself.

PIRATES-BRAVES SPLIT: Tim Hudson (6-2) allowed a run on two hits in seven innings, helping Atlanta beat Pittsburgh, 8-1, in the second game of a doubleheader to end a seven-game road losing streak. In the opener, Freddy Sanchez hit a three-run double and Zach Duke (2-2) scattered five hits and five walks over six innings as the Pirates won 5-0 for their sixth consecutive win.

Reds 8, Marlins 7: Jeff Keppinger and Brandon Phillips hit two-run homers in a four-run bottom of the seventh inning as Cincinnati took an 8-4 lead, then held on to end Florida's seven-game winning streak.

Nationals 10, Mets 4: Making his ninth start of the season without a victory, Odalis Perez (1-3) had three hits and two RBIs and gave up four runs on 11 hits in seven innings to lead visiting Washington past New York to end a three-game slide.

Cubs 12, Padres 3: Carlos Zambrano (6-1) won his fifth straight decision, giving up four runs and six hits in seven innings, and Alfonso Soriano homered in a six-run fifth inning as host Chicago routed San Diego for its fourth straight victory.

Astros 7, Giants 3: Hunter Pence hit a go-ahead sacrifice fly in the seventh and Lance Berkman had a tying two-run homer in the sixth off Barry Zito, who left with no decision as visiting Houston beat San Francisco.

AMERICAN LEAGUE

BLUE JAYS, INDIANS SPLIT: Cleveland's Asdrubal Cabrera turned the 14th unassisted triple play in major league history, but Shannon Stewart hit a sacrifice fly in the 10th inning and Aaron Hill added a two-run single, helping visiting Toronto to a 3-0 win and a doubleheader split. In the opener, Fausto Carmona (4-1) pitched a five-hitter and Cabrera hit a two-run homer in Cleveland's 3-0 victory.

Rays 7, Yankees 1: Matt Garza (2-1) scattered five hits over seven scoreless innings, and Jason Bartlett and Dioner Navarro each drove in two runs to lead Tampa Bay past New York for its fifth consecutive victory, and 10th straight at home.

Twins 7, Red Sox 3: After giving up three runs in the first, Livan Hernandez (6-1) scattered seven more hits pitching into the seventh inning to lead host Minnesota over Boston and Manny Ramirez, who hit his 498th career homer.

Rangers 13, Mariners 12: Ramon Vazquez homered on a 1-0 pitch with one out in the bottom of the 10th off Brandon Morrow (0-1), who struck out the other four batters he faced, lifting Texas over Seattle.

Angels 10, White Sox 7: Vladimir Guerrero homered and drove in four runs, and Nick Adenhart (1-0) allowed four runs and nine hits in 5 2/3 innings for his first major league victory as host Los Angeles snapped a four-game losing streak.
