ABC restores three hours of 'Lost' episodes

Looks like "Lost" will make up for lost time — and airings — by restoring three hours of the show that were bumped because of the Writers Guild of America strike.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, the 2009 and 2010 seasons will each be 17 hours, instead of the earlier-announced 16.
Despite declining ratings, the network will add one new episode for each of the upcoming seasons; an additional hour has been added to this year's finale airing May 29.
Thus, the restored hours will bring to 17 hours per year that were negotiated earlier.
The finale will be an action-driven cliffhanger but less tricky this year, according to "Lost" co-creator Damon Lindelof.
"Hopefully, this year it's a little bit more of a straightforward action-adventure narrative," he was quoted in the Hollywood Reporter, the film trade publication. "But the ending of the episode will hopefully engage and intrigue people looking forward to the next season."
