Fort Weaver closures continue this week
Single-lane closures of Fort Weaver Road will continue throughout this week, affecting traffic going in both directions.
Additionally, Old Fort Weaver Road will be contraflowed in a single lane near the Fort Weaver Road intersection throughout the week from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
The work is part of Phase II of the Fort Weaver Road widening project which will turn it into a six-lane thoroughfare.
Expected completion date is mid-2009.
