Lingle to be part of Jerusalem conference

Gov. Linda Lingle will join world leaders later this month at a conference in Jerusalem to discuss trends and developments that are shaping the future of the Mideast and the world, the governor's office announced.
Lingle was invited to join the Facing Tomorrow conference by Israeli President Shimon Perez, the governor's office said.
President Bush is among those expected at the May 13-15 event, the governor's office said.
Lingle will be accompanied on the trip by senior adviser Lenny Klompus and Ted Liu, director of the state Department of Business, Economic Development and Tourism.
