Tennis: Zvonareva, Azarenka in Prague final
PRAGUE, Czech Republic — Top-seeded Vera Zvonareva reached her fourth final of the year by defeating Katarina Srebotnik 6-2, 6-4 today in the Prague Open.
The 13th-ranked Zvonareva, who is seeking her first WTA Tour title this year, will face third-seeded Victoria Azarenka of Belarus on Sunday.
Azarenka defeated Klara Zakopalova 6-3, 6-2.
Zvonareva won her last two matches against Azarenka on hardcourts.
"But (that was) absolutely different," Zvonareva said. "(This) is a clay court. We'll see what's going to happen."
Zvonareva has won five WTA titles, while the 26th-ranked Azarenka is aiming for her first.
