Eleven Windward teens from seven schools were honored at the 20th annual Windward Arts Council Teen Arts Achievement Awards program this week.

The artists presented their work at Pohai Nani Bacon Auditorium in such areas as music, drama, creative writing and visual arts.

The winners are Echo Imai, Samantha Nakahira and Rolando Udarbe from Castle High School; Camille Kirk and Ghialana Borges from Kahuku High School; Briana Pratt and Lindsey Freitas from Kamehameha Schools; Adam Trecker from Le Jardin Academy; Keyana Stevens from 'Iolani School; Nicole Paige Chaffin from Punahou School; and Jill Ayo Sawada from Myron B. Thompson Academy.

The awards are made possible by grants from the Harold K.L. Castle Foundation, the Windward Arts Council Irmgard Aluli Fund and gifts from members.
