Interfaith Open Table Wednesday
Husamuddin Akhras will discuss "My Spiritual Journey as a Palestinian and Peace Advocate" at the Interfaith Open Table, at 7 a.m. Wednesday at First Unitarian Church.
Akhras was born to a Muslim family in the village of Azoun, near the city of Nablus in the West Bank. He has explored many other religions, including Christianity, Taoism, American Indian and Hawaiian spirituality.
Also, Raj Kumar will discuss being a Hindu and follower of Gandhi.

2-DAY SEMINAR AT BUDDHIST CENTER
Khentrul Lodro T'hayé Rinpoche will expound on "Cutting Through the Four Attachments" in a two-day seminar, April 12 to 13 at the Buddhist Study Center, 1436 University Ave.
Among the topics of the daylong seminar, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., is the great bodhisattva Manjushri's teaching of one of the jewels of Tibetan Buddhism.
The honorific "khentrul" denotes one who is both a khenpo and a tulku (a reincarnate master).
Cost: $75 for the weekend ($60 in advance; $35 for students with ID), with aid available.

F.A.I.T.H. FESTIVAL AT NU'UANU CHURCH
Grace 4 U Ministries is hosting a free F.A.I.T.H. (Faithful Artists Inspired Through Him) Festival from 1:30 to 6 p.m. April 6 at Community Church of Honolulu, 2345 Nu'uanu Ave.
Dubbed a "Christian fine arts festival," there will be music by 7 Simple Pieces and others, dancers, crafters and food booths.
