The 2008 Women's Junior Olympic State Gymnastic Championship featuring girls 8 to 18 years old will be held from 9:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m. tomorrow at Kailua District Park gym.

More than 100 intermediate and advanced gymnasts from 10 clubs on O'ahu, Maui and Hawai'i will compete. Intermediate-level begins competition at 9:30 a.m., and the advanced group starts at 4:30 p.m.

The program will honor eight high school graduating seniors who will be competing in their final in-state meet.

The gymnasts will be attempting to qualify for the regional championships that will be held in Spokane, Wash., in April.

Admission is $5 for adults and $2 for children 5-18 years old.
