A 16-year-old Ho'olehua boy was taken to The Queen's Medical Center in critical condition today after a car accident on Moloka'i.

Police said the car was stolen. The single-car accident happened at 4:50 a.m. on Kamehameha V Highway in Kawela.

Three other boys from Kualapuu who were in the car were treated and released, police said.

It was not known if speeding, drugs or alcohol were factors in the accident.
