KONA BREWING CO.

Kona Brewing Co. has promoted Steve Cole to director of sales, Hawai'i. He will lead and manage all of Kona Brewing's sales and marketing initiatives within the state, working closely with distributors and accounts. Cole joined Kona Brewing in 2004 as market manager.

COLLEGE CONNECTIONS HAWAII

The board of directors of College Connections Hawaii recently announced the appointment of Angela Coloretti as executive director. College Connections Hawai'i is an educational nonprofit whose mission is to expand education opportunities for Hawai'i's students by offering high-quality free or reduced-cost tutoring, college counseling and test-preparation services throughout the state.

HAWAI'I PACIFIC UNIVERSITY

DR. JEFFREY PHILPOTT has been promoted to vice president of student affairs and enrollment management at Hawai'i Pacific University. His promotion marks the start of a series of strategic initiatives at the school that will enable departments in each division to work more collaboratively toward the same goals.
