Preps: Brock, Shishido combine on no-hitter for Bears

Brock Shishido and Tyler Ono combined on a five-inning no-hitter yesterday as the Baldwin High School baseball team defeated Lahainaluna 14-0 in a Maui Interscholastic League game at Maehara Stadium.
Shishido struck out nine batters in four innings, and Ono struck out two.
Baldwin, ranked sixth in the Advertiser's statewide top 10 poll of media and coaches, opened up a half-game lead in the Division I MIL standings. Riley Beeson had two hits, including a triple, for the Bears (4-0), and Gabe Kaho'ohanohano singled twice.
The Lunas are now 0-3.

At Maehara Stadium, Michael Palmer had three hits for Seabury Hall. Nick Pagel and Adrian Rimm each tripled and singled for the Spartans (1-3), and Marcus Tatum had two hits.
Ka'ahumanu Hou fell to 0-3.
