CBKB: Wooden doing well at rehab after breaking bones

LOS ANGELES — John Wooden is getting his strength back at a rehabilitation center, three weeks after the 97-year-old UCLA coaching great broke his left wrist and collarbone in a fall at home.
Wooden's daily exercises are making him "stronger every day," his daughter, Nan Muehlhausen, said today through a UCLA spokesman.
Wooden planned to watch top-seeded UCLA on TV in its NCAA tournament opener against Mississippi Valley State on Thursday night.
Muehlhausen didn't indicate when her father would be allowed to go home. Wooden was hospitalized Feb. 29 and sent to the rehab center March 11.
