Autopsy findings by the Honolulu medical examiner's office determined that the deaths of a Kailua man in a head-on collision Monday in Kualoa and a surfer from Mililani Sunday were accidental.

Charles A. Ritter, 84, of Kailua, died from internal injuries while Joshua Kalai Nakata, 23, of Mililani, drowned after suffering blunt-force injuries to the head while surfing the "Banzai Pipeline" at Ehukai Beach.
