A 17-year-old boy who was among four Saint Louis School seniors arrested in connection with an egg-throwing incident in Lanikai that involved former Bishop Estate trustee Gerard Jervis was arrested by police Friday night in Chinatown during a prostitution sting.

The youth allegedly solicited an undercover female officer at North Kukui and 'A'ala streets about 8 p.m. and was arrested as a juvenile on suspicion of promotion of prostitution, police sources confirmed yesterday. The boy was released to his parents pending Family Court action.

Saint Louis School announced on Friday the four students in the egg-throwing incident two weekends ago were being disciplined without giving further details. School officials could not be reached last night.

The youths allegedly threw eggs at homes and were pursued by Jervis after an egg landed in his yard. Their sport utility vehicle crashed into a utility pole guy wire.

Jervis has pleaded not guilty to first-degree criminal property damage stemming from an allegation that he rammed the SUV with his sedan.

The four youths were arrested on suspicion of harassment in connection with the alleged egg-throwing.

The case is being handled by Family Court.
