A 17-year-old boy, who was among four Saint Louis School seniors arrested last weekend in connection with an egging incident in Lanikai, was arrested by police Friday night in Chinatown in a prostitution sting.

The youth allegedly solicited an undercover female officer on North Kukui and 'A'ala streets at about 8 p.m. and was arrested as a juvenile for promotion of prostitution, police sources confirmed today. The boy was released to the custody of his parents pending Family Court action.

Saint Louis School announced on Friday the four students in the egg-throwing incident were being disciplined without giving further details.

The youths allegedly threw eggs at homes and were pursued by one homeowner, former Bishop Estate trustee Gerard Jervis, after an egg landed in his yard. The sports utility vehicle the four teens were in crashed into a utility pole guidewire.

Jervis has pleaded not guility to first-degree criminal property damage stemming from an allegation he rammed the sports utility vehicle causing it to crash into the guidewire.

The four youths were arrested for harrassment in connection with the alleged egg throwing. The case is being handled by Family Court.
