NFL: Seahawks sign running back Julius Jones

KIRKLAND, Wash. — The Seattle Seahawks signed free agent running back Julius Jones to a multiyear contract today.
Jones is the second running back the Seahawks have added in the past week to go along with former Lion T.J. Duckett.
Seattle has Jones, Duckett, former MVP Shaun Alexander and backup Maurice Morris under contract for the 2008 season.
Jones has spent all four of his seasons with the Dallas Cowboys, but lost playing time to Marion Barber last season. Jones' best season came in 2006 when he rushed for 1,084 yards.
