The festival's closing concert with Boz Scaggs is May 11, in the Coconut Grove at The Royal Hawaiian. "Pink Night" will benefit the Queen's Cancer Center fight against breast cancer, and includes dinner and a fashion show. American Safari Cruises will launch interisland cruises this December aboard the 36-passenger Safari Explorer. The line said cruises will focus on traditional Hawaiian culture and will enable guests to get to know local residents by visiting their land and their homes. The all-American crew will include Hawai'i residents (captains, naturalists) who have knowledge of the area. The yacht, which travels only during the day, will visit Moloka'i, Lana'i, Maui, the Big Island and several snorkel/dive sites. American Safari's inaugural season starts Dec. 19 and ends May 9, 2009.
