Police and firefighters have been sent to a stretch of Ala Moana Boulevard fronting the Fisherman's Wharf area in response to a report that a fire hydrant has been sheared off.

The problem was reported about 12:40 a.m.

Traffic on Ala Moana has not been affected as of this time.
