The Honolulu Academy of Art Center at Linekona will offer a look at Maori art, history and culture in "Creating a Greenstone Chisel (Toki) with Te Kaha":

-- Workshop I: Aug. 4, 5 and 6 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

-- Workshop II: Aug. 7, 8 and 9 from 9 a.m.-3 p.m.

Tuition: $300; plus $100 for greenstone, wood handle, sandstone sticks, sandpaper and lashing, to be paid to instructor.
