A grand jury yesterday indicted a 56-year-old Nanakuli man on charges that he sexually assaulted a 15-year-old boy who worked for him.
Henry Moisa, who operates a portable toilet rental company, was charged with five counts of first-degree sexual assault.
If convicted of multiple offenses, Moisa could face life in prison with the possibility of parole under enhanced sentencing guidelines, said Jim Fulton, executive assistant for the city prosecutor's office.
Moisa is charged with sexually assaulting a 15-year-old boy who worked for him at A's Party Portable Toilet Rental. Honolulu deputy prosecutor Mark Yuen said Moisa would give the boy $5 for performing sex acts.
Moisa posted $250,000 bail and was released after being arrested at 4 a.m. Friday at his home on Farrington Highway.
The assaults allegedly took place at Bellows Field Beach Park, Camp Mokule'ia and Moisa's home between May 31, 2007, and May 5, 2008, officials said.
A police report said Moisa first assaulted the boy during the boy's interview to work for Moisa's business. The family of the teen reported the alleged incident to police.
The victim identified Moisa in a photographic lineup, the report said.
Police said other boys worked for Moisa at the rental business, and when police used a warrant to search Moisa's residence, they found photos of boys, Sgt. Kim Buffet told The Advertiser last week.
Anyone with information on the case is asked to call police at 528-3115, Crimestoppers at 955-8300 or *CRIME on a cell phone.
