NFL: Kauai's Dizon was arrested for DUI before draft

Jordon Dizon, a Waimea High graduate from Kauai who was a star linebacker at the University of Colorado, was arrested on April 20 and cited for driving under the influence, driving the wrong way on a one-way street and failure to provide proof of insurance, the Boulder (Colo.) Camera reported.
According to a police report cited in the newspaper's story, Dizon's blood-alcohol level was 0.097, above the legal limit of 0.08.
Dizon was drafted by the Detroit Lions in the second round of the draft six days after the arrest.
Additionally, the newspaper reported that Kai Maiava, a Baldwin High alum, and former sophomore fullback at Colorado, was ticketed June 19 for underage possession and consumption of alcohol
