Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot an 8-over 79 today and will miss the cut in the U.S. Open at the Torrey Pines Golf Course in San Diego.

Wilson was at 13-over 155 with the projected cut at 150.

Stuart Appleby was the clubhouse leader at 139 after a 70 today. Tiger Woods (68), Rocco Mediate (71) and Robert Karlsson (70) are tied at 140.

Wilson had no birdies in his round today with eight bogeys including consecutive bogeys on Nos. 11 to 14.
