Police today arrested a 23-year-old Waimanalo man in Kailua on four probation revocation warrants of $30,000 each.

Mark Dewayne DeBarge II is being held overnight at the main police station cellblock and will be taken to District Court tomorrow. DeBarge, who was arrested on the 300 block of Awakea Road, was also charged with resisting arrest. Bail for that offense is $1,000.

According to Hawai'i Criminal Justice Data Center records, DeBarge has been convicted of four offenses this year: fourth-degree theft (April 13) and harassment (March 31), both petty misdemeanors, and resisting arrest (March 31) and driving without a license (March 31), both misdemeanors.

His criminal record includes 20 total convictions dating back to March 2003, four of them for felonies — first-degree assault on a police officer, second-degree robbery and two auto thefts. On Feb. 7, 2007, DeBarge was sentenced to 365 days confinement, five years probation and ordered to pay a $105 criminal injury compensation fee for the assault on a law enforcement officer conviction.
