Interfaith group to hear discussion of gay marriage

Alan Spector will discuss "Marriage Makes a 'Word' of Difference" at the Interfaith Open Table, 7 a.m. Aug. 6 at the First Unitarian Church, 2500 Pali Highway.
Spector is co-director of Family Equality Coalition in Hawaii and has been active in the Freedom To Marry movement since 1999. He is employed with the Hawai'i Department of Health — Adult Mental Health Division.
