Lane closures continue to Aug. 15 on Kailua Road
The state Department of Transportation advises O'ahu motorists of right and left lane closures on Kailua Road, between Kalaniana'ole Highway and Hamakua Drive, in the Kailua-bound direction, from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. on the following dates:
The work is expected to affect traffic flow in the Kailua High School area, and motorists are advised to use alternate routes, which include Kalaniana'ole Highway to Ulupi'i Street.
Roadwork is weather-permitting.
Work will continue in the town-bound direction between the same locations from Aug. 11 through Aug. 15.
