A 32-year-old man was charged today with allegedly slashing another man with a knife during a fight yesterday in Hale'iwa.

Isaac Conrado Aplaca, who listed no permanent local address, is accused of second-degree assault. His bail is $50,000 pending an initial appearance tomorrow at District Court.

Aplaca was arrested fronting 66-123 Naoiwi Lane at 5:35 p.m., 50 minutes after a 50-year-old man was slashed.
