A 28-year-old Kailua man was charged today with being a repeat DUI offender and allegedly leaving the scene of an accident involving injuries.

Randy L. Josue was arrested last night at his Keolu Drive home at 9:40 p.m. and charged with operating a vehicle under the influence of an intoxicant today at 6:30 a.m. He was also booked for failure to render aid. Both are misdemeanor offenses.

Bail for Josue on the OVUII charge was $1,000.

Details of the accident were not available.

Josue, who has two prior criminal convictions, had an appearance scheduled today at District Court.
