Dean Wilson ties for third, 3 shots back of Anthony Kim at AT&T National

Kane'ohe native Dean Wilson shot a 3-under-par 67 and finished in a six-way tie for third, three strokes behind winner Anthony Kim today in the final round of the AT&T National at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.
Kim shot a 65 and finished at 12-under 268, while Fredrik Jacobson finished at 10-under 270 after a 65. Wilson, who earned $256,000, was at 271 with Rod Pampling (65), Jim Furyk (66), Robert Allenby (67), Nick O'Hern (69) and Tommy Armour III (69).
Wilson, a Castle High alum, got to 9 under with a birdie on the par-4 No. 15 to close to two shots of Kim, but Kim birdied the par-5 No. 16 to go to 12 under.
Wilson had a bogey at the par-3 No. 2 and four birdies, including three in a row at Nos. 7 to 9. It was his best PGA Tour finish this season. He finished 10th at the Players Championship in May.
Honolulu native Parker McLachlin shot a 70 today — three birdies and three bogeys — to finish in a tie for 27th at 277 ($39,100).
