Commercial Driver License Office to close

The Commercial Driver License Office in Salt Lake will close for repairs beginning today, the state Department of Transportation said.
Notice will be given when the office — located at 99-501 Salt Lake Blvd. — will reopen. Until then, some changes to services will occur, including:
All skills test fees must be paid at the CDL counter, temporarily located at the City Square Driver Licensing Office, 1199 Dillingham Blvd., prior to the test date.
Commercial motor vehicle and motorcycle operator skills testing will continue at the same testing site during the same hours. Only drivers with prepaid appointments and proof of payment will be allowed to test.
All other services will be conducted at the City Square Driver Licensing Office from 7:45 a.m. to 4 p.m. beginning tomorrow.
