Hui 'Ilio Hawaii will host a large garage sale Saturday to raise money for the Hawaii Kai Dog Park, scheduled to open this spring.

The sale will be from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Kaiser High School lower parking lot, 511 Lunalilo Home Road.

Trees have already been planted and an irrigation system installed at the dog park, which is located at the corner of Keahole Street and Kalaniana'ole Highway.

Hui 'Ilio is a nonprofit organization dedicated to establishing a dog park in Hawai'i Kai. The group will also sponsor a planting day at the park in early February.
