No positive results have been found thus far among the students and adults
tested for tuberculosis last week at Kahuku High & Intermediate School, the
state Department of Health said today.
However, about 20 to 30 screenings have yet to be completed of the 107
people tested.
More than 100 students and adults at the school had been exposed to the
disease by a teacher who was unaware of being infected until visiting a
doctor for an unrelated problem.
The test on all of the exposed people should be done by Friday and a final
report is expected in March, the Health Department said.
