GALLERIES, STUDIOS OPEN
On the third Thursday of each month, Downtown-Chinatown galleries and studios keep their doors open late to give people the opportunity to learn a little about the arts from the artists themselves. Members of the Hawaii Glass Artists hui give a talk at 6 tonight at The ARTS at Marks Garage, 1159 Nu'uanu Ave.; have a conversation with Jim Foster from 6 to 8 at the Louis Pohl Gallery, 1111 Nu'uanu Ave.; and Deanna Miller, curator of "California Dreamin': LA to HI," gives a walk-through at 6:30 p.m. at the Nu'uanu Gallery at Marks Garage, 1161 Nu'uanu Ave.
