The Willows will host a fundraiser event for cancer patient Sean Koahou from 6 to 9 p.m. Wednesday.

Proceeds from the event will help defray medical expenses for Koahou, 36, who was diagnosed last month with a form of kidney cancer. His doctors told him he has six months to a year to live.

The menu includes special dishes by Willows chef Jay Matsukawa, along with hosted wine, beer and martinis. A silent auction also will be held.
