Near-perfect weather expected through weekend

A nearly stationary surface ridge near the state will result in light winds overall and lead to on-shore breezes during the day and and off-shore breezes at night, the National Weather Service said.

Expect relatively dry weather during the next several days with a chance of isolated showers mainly across interior and mauka area during afternoon and early evening hours, forecasters said.

Here's how the next few days look:

Today: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. Northeast wind at 5 mph becoming southwest. Chance of precipitation is 20 oercent.

Tonight: Isolated showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. Calm wind. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 80. Calm wind becoming southwest around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Sunday night: Isolated showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 66. Light northeast wind. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.

Presidents' Day: Isolated showers after noon. Partly cloudy, with a high near 81. Light and variable wind. Chance of precipitation is 20 precent.

Monday night: Isolated showers before midnight. Partly cloudy, with a low around 65. Northeast wind around 6 mph. Chance of precipitation is 20 percent.
