A man was sent to The Queen's Medical Center late last night after the red Mitsubishi he was in smashed into a city bus traveling south on Fort Weaver Road in 'Ewa.

The accident occurred about mid-block between the Renton Road and Kolowaka Drive intersections shortly after 10:30 p.m., backing up Fort Weaver traffic heading into 'Ewa Beach for nearly an hour.

No one else was injured, police said.
