McLachlin shoots 70, Fujikawa 81 at Pebble Beach

Parker McLachlin shot his second consecutive 2-under 70 today and is the only Hawai'i golfer in position to make the cut at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Moanalua High School junior Tadd Fujikawa, 17, blew up to a 9-over 81 today at Pebble Beach. He is at 9-over 153 and is tied for 163rd place.

Dean Wilson shot 1-over 73 at Spyglass Hill. He is at 4-over 148 and is tied for 124th.

The four-day event played is played on three courses — Pebble Beach, Spyglass Hill and Poppy Hills. A cut to the top 60 players will be made after tomorrow's third round.

McLachlin, a former Honolulu resident and Punahou alum, had three birdies and a bogey today while playing on Spyglass. His nines were 34-36. His two-day total is 140. He is among the top 30.

Fujikawa had two double bogeys, six bogeys and a birdie in a 40-41 round to fall from 61st entering the day.

Wilson, a former Kaneohe resident and Castle High alum, had four birdies, 3 bogeys and a double bogey in nines of 35-38.
