TODAY'S MUST-SEE

Election coverage, everywhere. With scripted shows scarce, networks give extra attention to the battle for presidential nominations. Now it's time for "Super Tuesday," with almost half the delegates at stake. Coverage plans can change quickly, but expect to find lots of news in lots of places. Among networks, ABC's coverage will run from 6 to 8 p.m.; CBS, 7 to 9 p.m.; NBC, from 8 to 9 p.m., PBS from 10 to midnight. Two news channels make it something of a marathon. It will be 3-7 p.m. on CNN. MSNBC claims coverage will go from 2 p.m. to midnight.

"House," 8 p.m., Fox. Here's the final new episode, for now. Dr. House is curious about his patient's conversion to Hasidic Judaism. Her husband wants that off-limits. Meanwhile, House also grumbles because Wilson is dating a Wilson-like woman.

OF NOTE

"American Idol,"7 p.m., Fox. Here's the last of the seven audition cities, Atlanta. And if it seems like we still haven't seen enough strong contenders, there's hope. On Wednesday, a "best of the rest" includes people from several cities.

"The Biggest Loser,"7 p.m. and 9 p.m., NBC. Remember Rocco DiSpirito, the handsome chef who briefly had his own NBC reality show? He pops up here as the judge in a cooking contest, then cooks a meal for the winning team.

"NCIS," 9 p.m., CBS. In a rerun, a mysterious death is investigated on a ship. The findings leave investigators fearing for their lives.

"The Color of Friendship" (2000), 8:15 p.m., Disney Channel. Waiting for an exchange student from South Africa, U.S. Rep. Ron Dellums assumed she was black. What he found was a jolt - the blonde daughter of a man who disliked activists. Kevin Hooks directed Carl Lumbly and Lindsey Haun, in a true story that provides a good Black History Month rerun.

"One Tree Hill," 8 p.m., CW/KHON digital 93. Jamie is starting to ask about his grandfather, the one in prison. Meanwhile, Brooke's mom is interfering with the new music label that's financed by Brooke and run by Peyton.

"In Treatment," 7:30 p.m., HBO. In a show that has tattered psyches, Alex (Blair Underwood) is unique. He's an Air Force pilot with a veneer of ultra-confidence. Last week (rerunning at 7 p.m.), he startled his therapist by saying he was going to secretly visit the Baghdad site where his bomb (due to incorrect information) killed children. Tonight, we find out what happened; he also manages to startle us anew.

"10 Items or Less," 10:30 p.m., TBS. Ingrid feels her biological clock is ticking and it's time to lose her virginity. First, she must choose the right guy, among her grocery-store co-workers. Then things go wrong.
