Keith Roberts, vice president for academics at Brigham Young University-Hawai'i, will conclude his tenure at the school in September.
Roberts, a mathematics professor, came to the campus in 1991 to establish the office of institutional research. He has served as vice president since January 2000.
Roberts, 62, has been instrumental in raising the visibility and prestige of the university internationally as well as locally, BYUH administrators said. During his tenure, US News ranked BYUH as a top tier university for eight consecutive years.
He is chair of the Pacific Institute Board of Fellows and a founding member of Empower Oahu.
He will be replaced at BYUH by Max Checketts, BYU-Idaho academic vice president.
