Waimea Valley park closed until next Friday

The Waimea Valley Audubon Center will be closed to the public today through Feb. 7 to facilitate the transition of the valley's operations from the National Audubon Society to Hiipaka LLC, an entity of the Office of Hawaiian Affairs.
The center will reopen Feb. 8.
The center is at 59-864 Kamehameha Highway in Hale'iwa. For more information, call 638-9199.
