The Honolulu Fire Department at 9 p.m. reported no serious fireworks-related incidents on O'ahu.

Firefighters have responded to eight fires today that were probably caused by fireworks, Capt. Terry Seelig said in a news release.

Seven were fires in dumpsters or trash cans. The eighth was a brush fire on Kamilonui Place in Hawai'i Kai.

There have been no reports of injuries or property damage.

Rain has been falling today over parts of O'ahu, including Central O'ahu, the downtown area and Palolo.
