A 52-year-old man turned himself into Honolulu police today after a 17-year-old girl alleged that he had repeatedly sexually assaulted her in the Kahala area when she was 15 years old.

The man was arrested on suspicion of eight counts of sexual assault in the first degree, five counts of sexual assault in the third degree and two counts of sexual assault in the fourth degree, police said.

The girl told investigators that she was assaulted by the man from September 2006 to April 2007.
