Post offices in Hawai'i will close early on Christmas Eve, but mail delivery will be on a normal schedule that day, the Postal Service said yesterday.

All but a handful of post offices will close at noon tomorrow. Others, mostly on the Neighbor Islands, will close an hour or two later, and the Honolulu International Airport post office will be open until 5 p.m.

Two small postal facilities on Pearl Harbor naval base will be closed tomorrow.

Regular post office hours and mail delivery will resume on Friday.
