The city's Hanauma Bay Beach Park was reopened this morning for public use.

The popular snorkeling destination was closed during yesterday's rainstorm due to cloudy water conditions and storm surge within the bay.

"There's still a little runoff entering the bay today, but overall it's pretty nice," said Bryan Cheplic, spokesman for the city Emergency Services Department.
