Complaint hearing for police officer delayed
A scheduled hearing at 'Ewa District Court for a harassment complaint against a Honolulu police officer — lodged by by a fan allegedly roughed up while rushing the field at Aloha Stadium following the University of Hawai'i's football victory over Washington last December — has been continued.
No new hearing date has been scheduled. Tuesday's continuance was granted because the attorney for the defendant, Officer Joseph Lum, had a schedule conflict with a trial at federal court.
Lum has been assigned to desk duty pending the outcome of the case.
